Description

This is a Summer Dayton League for adult individual registration, with some age exceptions being made (see below). The number of teams will depend on registration and it will be a draft format. If you are willing to captain, please note that in the appropriate question in the registration process. If you'd like to be paired with someone, please note that in the registration process as well. We try our best to honor request for pairings, but cannot guarantee them. Both individuals must request the pairing. 

Important Dates: 
Summer League runs the following eight dates; June 15, June 22, June 29, July 6, July 13, July 20, July 27, & August 3. 

The first week will be a "hat tournament" style of play. Captains will be evaluating players and then draft respective teams prior to the second week of league. The last week will be the "playoffs" and will determine the winning team. 

Cost Details:
1st tier: $50
2nd tier: $70
3rd tier: $90

In 2023, Cincinnati Ultimate is adjusting to a 3-tier payment structure. The 2nd tier (in this case, $70) is the basic league fee. The 3rd tier is available for any participant who wishes to contribute extra funds to support those that unable to pay the full fee. The 1st fee is available for anyone who needs a discounted fee.

The price includes field rentals, a team/league t-shirt, and a disc. We also plan to have some type of post-session cookout--more information to come!

All payments must be collected online before the first games.

**We do not want cost to be a prohibitive factor. In an attempt to provide flexibility, we are offering a discounted rate for those who need it in a ”pay what you can” system. If this is still a concern, please reach out to Liz Anderson, Director of Operations (landerson@cincinnatiultimate.org) with requests for consideration.**

Age Requirement: 18 years of age or older by June 15, 2023.
*Exceptions to this rule will be allowed for players under 18 if they are playing with their parent/guardian on the same team.

League Formats

The goal is for all leagues to be 7v7, full-field, non-modified, and mixed ultimate (usually 5:2 or 6:1) in format. Games will be played to 19, or dusk (roughly 8:30PM), as called by league directors; whichever one comes first. One timeout per team, per half, with a floater. We will play through wind and rain, but will delay/cancel for lightning. If there is a cancellation or delay an email will be sent no later than 4:30 PM.
