Welcome to Summer Monday North League!

This league is considered an intermediate league, but we have had beginners play and have a lot of fun. 

Beginners are still more than welcome, but be aware that there is a wide range of skill level that participates in the league. Ultimate is a unique sport in that it allows players of different experience and skill levels to be on the field at the same time. To further facilitate beginners being welcomed into the league, we will hold a beginners' throwing and game familiarity session 30 minutes prior to game time for the first few weeks of the league!

In an effort to blend the talent and skill level more seamlessly, we aim to hold training for captains prior to the start of the league.  If you are interested in being a captain, please reach out to Liz and/or Ned. 

This will be played on Monday nights, 6:30-8:30pm at Lebanon Sports Complex, June 1 - July 27.

The details for this session will be:

• The league will be 9 weekly sessions, with the goal of playing in a 4:3 ratio. It may end up being 5:2 depending on registration numbers.
• This is a hat-style league, meaning players register individually, and the league directors split up teams based on your self-evaluations in the registration process. 
• You can sign up with up to 1 other player by listing their name during registration, but they must also choose you to play with. We cannot guarantee more than that, as it can be challenging to make teams with more than 1 tied player. 
• Each team will be capped at 6 or 7 women-matching players and 9 or 10 men-matching players.
• You will receive your team assignment and final schedule AFTER registration, usually a few days before the start of the league.
• The format is subject to change depending on the actual number of registrants.

Age Requirement: 16 years of age or older as of 6/1/25, though we allow down to 14 years old if the player is participating with a parent or guardian. 

End-of-Season Tournament
The teams in this North league will aim to participate in the End-of-Season tournament with the Cincinnati Summer League teams. It is not guaranteed that we will participate in the tournament because traditionally, the North league ends up having a lower women-to-men ratio than the other leagues that run in Cincinnati. If we do participate in the tournament, it is likely that playing time for men-matching players will be limited due to the high number of interested players. The tournament will be on Saturday, August 1st.

Cost Details:
$70 (regular league fee)
Lower tier: $60
Higher tier: $80

Cincinnati Ultimate has adjusted to a 3-tier payment structure. The 2nd tier (in this case, $70) is the basic league fee. The 3rd tier is available for any participant who wishes to contribute extra funds to support those who are unable to pay the full fee. The 1st fee is available for anyone who needs a smaller fee for their own financial needs.

Your league fee covers the following:

• 9 weeks of summer league games
• Team jersey
• Disc (if you are a new participant in our leagues)
• A cookout is traditionally held every Monday, although it would be good if we helped out our cookout hosts by offering to help with food costs.
• Possibly an all-day end-of-summer tournament, complete with a cookout and party (August 1)

Complete your summer league registration by May 16th to receive a jersey! 

We're aware that many people sign up for this league at the last minute, but it makes it difficult to receive jerseys in a timely manner if we delay the order past that point. By ordering early, we should receive jerseys in the first week or second week of this league. 

Anyone registered after May 16 may not receive a jersey. We will consider doing a second shirt order if there happens to be a large number, but it does cost us extra to do so and those shirts will arrive well into the season.
