On this page you will find all the information you need for playing in YUC for the 2023 season. 

League Directors

The league directors for this season are Liz Anderson and Ian Stevens.  If you have any questions about the information on this page, or any other questions about our league, they can be reached by emailing yucdirectors@gmail.com.

Joining a Team

If your high school has a team, you must play for that school.  If your school doesn't have a team, you are free to join any team in the league.  If you need help finding a team close to your school or home, please contact the league directors who will put you in touch with a coach.  If you'd like information about starting a team at your school, please also contact the league directors.

Age Limits (A & B Divisions)

Minimum age: 11 by June 1, 2023
Maximum age: 18 on June 1, 2023

Waiver

We have moved to online waivering.  All players, 18 and under, must have parental permission.

State law requires that we provide information on concussions to all players.  You can download that here: concussion information

Fees

The fee for playing in YUC is $40 and includes a disc for each player.  There may be an additional fee for jerseys - please check with your coach.  Please pay your league fee through Paypal when you register.  If you have issues with the online payment system then please discuss with your coach.

USA Ultimate Team/Event Roster and Membership

All players must have a USAU Account and current USAU waivers.   If you do not already have a USAU account you will need to create one and sign the 2023 Waivers.

All HS players also required to have USAU Membership which is a separate $40.  See your coach regarding how and when USAU memberships will be paid.   

Your coach/team admin will add you to your team roster.

League Dates

All our games are played on Sunday afternoons at fields around the city.  

February 18, 10pm-6am: Lock-in Tournament

March 12, 19, 26:  League Games

April 2, 16, 23: League Games (No games April 9)

May 5:  All-Star Game

May 7, 14:  League Game

May 20:  End of Season Tournament - Miami Whitewater Soccer Complex

June 3-4:  Ohio State Championship - Lebanon Sports Complex
